Mt Evans

So I just thought of creating a blog with pictures from my journeys around the western US and other scenic areas so I figured why not try it out. Here is a picture of a mountain lake on my way up to Mt. Evans. It was the first of many 14ers here in Colorado that I will hike up. It is an easy hike...as you drive up the first 6000 feet and then park and hike up the remaining. Mt . Evans, a peak that is 14280 feet is a popular place as seen from the crowded parking lot and unlimited amount of dogs and people on the trail up to the summit. It is most definately on top of the world.
